An African Folktale: The Enchanting Song of the Magical Bird

In this fun and interactive class, kids get to listen to an enthralling African Folktale from Tanzania called “The Enchanting Song of the Magical Bird.” In this story, a magical bird visits a small village and sings the sweetest song, but the strangest thing happens when the bird begins to sing. As the story is being told, the kids will get to move, act, and sing along making for a really engaging experience.

Before we begin the story, we'll learn some interesting facts about Tanzania and what it is known for, for example, it's beaches, the Serengeti, mount Kilimanjaro and a tree the makes one of the most expensive woods in the world.

This class will have kids moving and talking (and maybe even singing) as they eagerly wait to find out how the story ends.
