Queen Moremi - Story & Craft for Kids

Join us for a fun session about the legendary Queen Moremi of Yorubaland (Nigeria). During the session, kids will listen to the story of Queen Moremi, act out scenes from the tale, sing songs, and wrap up with an art craft so they remember the fun they had.

You’ve heard of great kings and queens from other cultures, but now it’s time to take a trip to Africa and learn about the bravery and great sacrifice that Queen Moremi made in order to save her kingdom. You don’t want to miss it!

Supplies Needed for Craft

· 3 sheets of plain paper

· A pencil

· A pair of scissors

· Brown, red, orange and yellow crayons or paint – if you don’t have these colors, just bring 4 different colors

· Clear scotch tape or glue.
